Don't worry, caring for your original oil painting isn't as high maintenance as it may sound.

Just follow these simple does and don't and you'll be able to enjoy your painting for many years to come!

Keep your painting in a place with constant temperature, and avoid excess humidity.
Display your painting in a place where it can be admired daily ( optional, be preferred ;) )

Hang your art in harsh, direct sunlight as it may cause your painting to fade over time.
Store or place your original art next to heavy or sharp object as this could lead to dents or cuts in the canvas.
Clean your painting with solvents, or chemicals as it may damage the paint.

If you ever plan to move, follow these simple guidelines to ensure your painting doesn't get damaged in the process

Never place plastic, bubble wrap, or saran wrap directly onto your painting as this may stick to the paint.

Wrap your painting with acid free tissue paper, or packaging paper,
lay a piece of cardboard over the front and back of canvas,
Add bubble wrap.
Place snuggly into box. ( If needed add extra cushion to box to prevent the artwork from moving around during transit. )
