There’s something very special about a small piece of art…When you start filling all those little nooks in your home with something as unique as a painting, the whole space comes to life.

Small artwork can bring character and depth to a space, making your home feel cozier, and as if it was designed with some thoughtfulness and intention.

Listed below are just a few ways you can style small artwork.. I hope these ideas inspire you and help you to visualize your favorite paintings in your own home!

Nightstand / Dresser

One of my favorite ways to display a small painting or print is simply sitting it on my night stand or dresser. It brings character to the space and is such a joy to wake up to!

Mantle

Adding some art up on a mantle helps set the mood and creates a beautiful vignette.

Shelves / Book Shelves

This is probably the easiest and most common way to display small artwork, but it’s also SO GOOD. Some canvases have a thick enough edge making it easy to sit your art down, but some you may need to add a frame, or you could simply lean it against the wall.

Kitchen

If you have some shelves inside your kitchen, add some art! It just sets the mood and creates such a welcoming, cozy space.

Small Wall

There’s always a handful of small walls inside a home, maybe between a window, next to your closet, or at the end of the hall.. small paintings seem to fit the space perfectly and add so much more character to an otherwise boring space.

Gallery Wall

A gallery wall is the perfect place to show off all the beautiful pieces you’ve collected over the years
